While most communities are celebrating fireworks on July 4, 2012,
Fairport Mardi Gras will kickoff the parade on July 4 and end the weeks celebration on July 8 with our own special Fireworks display.

MEETINGS:
We encourage new members to join and
help keep the Fairport Mardi Gras celebration a continued success and to always provide good clean family fun for everyone!
Fairport Mardi Gras meets on the 2nd Monday of each month commencing in October, 2011. The committee is made up of dedicated volunteers. Meetings are held at the Fairport Harbor Village Hall, 220 Third Street, 2nd Floor with board members meeting at 6:30pm and regular members meeting at 7:00pm.
Membership is open to the public throughout Lake County. Anyone interested in attending a meeting or would like to get involved should contact Jodi Cardina at 440-487-2843. Your suggestions are welcomed. Committees include Parade, Concessions, Advertising, Childrens Events, Prize Tent, Ticket Sales, and more...

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:
Fairport Mardi Gras is proud of its long lasting relationship with the Fairport Harbor community and Fairport Harbor Exempted Schools. Donations have been made to area high school bands to support their programs. Scholarships are awarded to current FHS high school graduates.
