2014 Parade - Wednesday, July 2 @ 7:00 pm
Line the streets of Fairport to view the largest parade in Lake County. Bring your family and friends to watch the Grand Marshall and Fairport Harding High school band lead the parade. The parade begins at 7:00 pm and will process down parts of the following streets. (Third, Vine, Seventh, and Eagle) - Parade participants will lineup at the staging area - Entrance at Sixth and East Street.  Interested in being in the parade, see the Parade Form tab.

Senior Day Event 2014 - Thursday, July 3 1:00-5:00 pm
Seniors Age 55 and up - Join in the fun at the Fairport Mardi Gras - Thursday, July 3, 2014
1:00 pm - 5:00 pm on the Amphitheatre. Entrance into the park is FREE to Senior Citizens attending the Senior Day Event. There is parking and a shuttle bus from Fairport Senior Center to the festival, during this event only, for free.  Or you can enter from Water Street, and park in the designated area at the Fairport Port Authority for a small fee.
 
Veterans Day Event 2014 - Friday, July 4 1:00-5:00 pm
The Fairport Harbor Mardi Gras is sponsoring a Veterans Day Celebration in honor of all of our Veterans and their families at the Fairport Harbor MetroParks Lakefront Beach at the bottom of the Lighthouse, as a tribute to all of our Veterans.  The free event is from:  1:00 PM - 5:00 PM starting with a mini-parade of area Veteran Post members, area children, Scouts, etc, marching from the Veterans Park on Second Street down the Fairport Beach Hill.  The event includes:  Veteran ceremonies of "Table of One", "The Fallen Soldier", military entertainment, bagpipes, DJ, performance by the James Brymer Experience, military vehicles on display, a free flag for all children while supplies last, free hot dog, chips and water provided throughout the day, free giveaways while supplies last, free basket raffles with gift cards and other items for our Veterans and much, much more.
Please join us at the ampitheatre and large tent for a day of remembrance and fun-filled activities for people of all ages.  Enjoy the music of the 40's through 90's and today's music.  Throughout the day, families can visit the Fairport Mardi Gras Festival where many of the concessions will be offering food and drink discounts for veterans (I.D. or uniform required).  The midway is filled with rides, games and raffles for everyone. A free shuttle ride to and from the event is available for all Veterans and their families wishing to park at the Fairport Harbor Senior Center or the Fairport VFW which both are located on East Street.


2014 5K Race & 2 Mile Walk - Saturday, July 5 @ 8:30 am
8:30 am
5K race & 2 mile walk will return again this year supported by the Riverside Flying R booster club.  See link below for the registration form. You can also visit Greater Cleveland XC website to find more information and to see race results.  Participants of all ages and groups are encouraged to get fit and join in the race!  Prizes awarded....
